Who tops the list of Sioux Falls baby names? Depends on where you were born

Kindergarten classes in five years will be filled with Amelias, Lillians, Olivers and Lucases, according to the city’s most popular baby names of 2021.

Interestingly, the top five baby names of the year vary noticeably between those born at Avera Health and those born at Sanford Health, especially for girls.

At Avera, Lillian topped the list for girls, and Lucas came in No. 1 for boys.

At Sanford, the top spot went to Amelia for girls and Oliver for boys.
