Nov. 19: Family Night Out
Gather your family for some kid- and adult-friendly activities with Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation. Family Night Out, which will take place at the Kenny Anderson Community Center, will include games, inflatables, food and much more. No registration is required, and all ages are welcome. The event is free and will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Nov. 19-20: EmBe’s Fall Closet Sale
EmBe is hosting a fall closet sale in conjunction with Dress for Success Sioux Falls on Nov. 19 and 20. The sale aims to provide affordable name-brand women’s clothing to support those who may need it. The sale also wil be a fundraiser to support “women in our community in finding professional attire and the development tools to help women not live in poverty, are treated with dignity and respect and strengthen their families and shape their communities.” The event will take place at the EmBe downtown gym, and a full schedule can be found on embe.org.

Nov. 20: Frigid Fall Kickball Tournament
Up for some competition, and maybe some cold? Sign up for the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Frigid Fall Kickball Tournament. Gather a team of friends for some “prime-time, under the lights” kickball playing. The entry price is $25 per team. The top two teams will win T-shirts. Sign up teams at register.siouxfallsparks.org, and more information will be provided then.

Nov. 20: Sioux Falls Sports Card Show
Sioux Falls Sports Cards is hosting a card show this week. The Sioux Falls Sports Card Show will give sports cards enthusiasts a chance to buy, sell and trade various memorabilia. The show will take place on the third floor of the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance building and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, and there will be a range of new vendors and merchandise at the event.

Nov. 20: The HelloHi One-Year Anniversary Celebration
Downtown bar The Hello Hi is celebrating its one-year anniversary this week, and is hosting a party to commemorate the year, as well as celebrating along with its partner Pizza Cheeks. The event will take place all day, with special anniversary cocktails and limited-edition apparel for sale. The party is disco themed, so put on your best ’70s gear to celebrate with The Hello Hi and Pizza Cheeks from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Nov. 20-21: Trains at Christmas
Here’s a sign the holidays are fast approaching: the annual Trains at Christmas event will be at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. Sponsored by the Sioux Valley Model Engineers Society, Trains at Christmas will feature model train layouts from across the Sioux Falls area as well as the society’s permanent layouts on exhibition. There also will be vendors selling a variety of train items. Admission is $5 for those 12 and older.
