July 11-14: Shakespeare outdoors
You have only four more chances to see the Bare Bodkins Theatre production of William Shakespeare’s play “Twelfth Night” at the Queen Bee Mill in Falls Park. Tickets are available at 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with the gates open at 6:30 p.m. The free 100-minute performance will begin at 7 p.m. each night. Bring a lawn chair, but please leave your pets at home.

July 12-13: Art collective
A two-day art collective will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Washington Pavilion’s Everist Gallery. The event offers a diverse range of artwork and is for all ages. Admission is free.

July 13: Learn to fish
If you want to learn how to cast a line, the Game, Fish & Parks’ Outdoor Campus at 4500 S. Oxbow Ave. in Sertoma Park is the place to be Saturday. The open house-style program will teach participants the basics of fishing. All equipment is provided. Children must be with an adults. There’s no registration, and it’s free. It will run from 10 a.m. to noon.

July 13: Let’s skate!
The Barb Iverson Skate Plaza will have its ribbon-cutting and official grand opening at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, but the real fun will begin Saturday when the wheels start spinning.

Pro skaters Brandon Turner, Jaime Reyes, Eli Williams and Dan Mancina, who is blind, will show their stuff from noon to 3 p.m. There will be food trucks, vendor tables and music by DJ Absolute. It’s all free. The skate park is at 301 S. Fairfax Ave., off 10th Street and Cliff Avenue.

July 16: Paint Your Partner
Here’s your own chance to be an artist. Severance Brewing Co., 701 N. Phillips Ave., is hosting Paint Your Partner at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The brewery will provide the supplies — you bring your spouse, partner, friend, sister, brother … well, you get the idea. No talent required, just be prepared to laugh. Purchase your tickets here.

July 17: Corvettes aplenty
The Sioux Falls Corvette Club will host hundreds of Corvettes from across the nation for a free Corvette car show during Hot Summer Nites. The event from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds includes live music, a beer garden, food trucks and fun. Nordstrom’s Automotive is hosting the Quick 60, which offers cash prize money. Freewill donations to American Legion Post 15 are encouraged.
