4 new things to eat this week
We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know whatâs in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.
Spring is almost here, and Crooked Pint Ale House has new menu items to embrace the season. The Herby Chicken Salad features pesto grilled chicken on a bed of spinach, romaine and cabbage, with mozzarella, red and green onion, marinated tomato and cucumber. It’s topped with Parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing.
Nunzio Pizza Kitchen at Harvester Kitchen by Bryan is still going â at least through March. It started because the restaurantâs tasting menus for January and February featured wood-fired dishes â and because wood-fired pizza is one of Chef Bryan Moscatelloâs âvery favorite foods.â The pizzas are available for takeout-only Wednesday through Sunday nights and can be ordered online. Our pick is the Veal Meatball — because where else in Sioux Falls will you find it? The crust is topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, an Italian cheese blend and veal meatballs.
The new 605 Inspired featured menu at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails dives into dishes “inspired by home.” The Popover features fry bread stuffed with pulled pork and cheddar, topped with apple butter and pickled jalapeno relish.
And to leave you with something green for St. Patrick’s Day, both locations of The Attic Bar & Grill and The Gruff Plates + Pours in Brandon are serving Chocolate Mint Cheesecake this month and possibly into April.
