Giveaway this weekend to offer kids new Bombas socks, underwear, more
Free underwear and Bombas socks will be given away Saturday as part of a back-to-school fair.
It’s organized by Prairie View Prevention Services with support from many sponsors.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 N. Cliff Ave.
Last year, more than 1,000 kids attended and more than 1,000 packages of socks and underwear were given away. This year, every child will receive socks donated by Bombas along with new underwear. Children must be present with a parent or guardian for the giveaway.
The event also will include free back-to-school information, safety demonstrations and free vision checks, plus a free lunch served starting at 10 a.m. while it lasts.
